We develop and construct our systems in-house, using modern technical tools like CAD, FEM, and rapid prototyping. In addition, we have our own tooling shop under the SIMON corporate group umbrella; it includes a high-performance, modern development department and comprehensive experience in all of the different processing areas we offer, for instance tools for plastic injection molding.
There are two additional areas within the SIMON corporate group which participate in the manufacturing of our products: The SIMON corporate group includes its own plastic injection molding company, and a modern company for electroplating. This company has specialized entirely in electroplating plastics, and works almost exclusively on products for the furniture and automotive sectors.
Our automated assembly area uses the most modern technology available. SIMON completes a 100% inspection of all of our series products in-house as well. We use assembly and testing equipment which is developed and built internally.
However, we are also able to complete pre-production, test, and small series at any time. Appropriate areas for manual assembly are available. This helps make SIMON highly flexible, for instance allowing us to customize individual damper characteristics.
Customized products by customer request – with high quality and flexible order execution – are a matter of course.
In addition, functional fittings like furniture locks, brake flap stays, bolts, and magnetic systems have always been part of our product portfolio.
